Not all individuals are lucky enough to say they were born and raised in this great town of
Starkville, Mississippi; but I am proud to fall into that category and call Starkville HOME! Having
graduated from Starkville High School in 2017 and Mississippi State University in 2023 with a
degree in Sports Administration, my love for everything Starkville grew deeper and deeper over
the years!
After taking off a year in college between my sophomore and junior years to nanny in Australia,
really opened my eyes to how much Starkville held a special place in my heart. Being away
from HOME for the first time taught me many life skills that I will never take for granted. Most
importantly I learned that serving others in some capacity was truly my calling in life!
While in college, I started my own business, LJ Forever Jewelry. It has helped me realize how
much joy can be generated while working, whether it’s simply helping someone find the perfect
piece of jewelry or just having a laugh while enjoying what you do.
After graduating college my future was a mystery, but I knew I needed to be around people that enjoy their job and like to have fun while doing it. When Overstreet Properties offered me this opportunity, I knew it was just what I was looking for to find my joy!
